Job description

Description

About OES

OES is a vibrant and values led organisation, and we are passionate about enhancing lives through education. We work with university partners, training institutes, and professional bodies worldwide, to develop and enable immersive and engaging learning experiences. We empower our teams to be student focused, innovative and embrace change with a growth mindset to ensure we achieve our vision of being the world’s most impactful enabler of education. We encourage our people to grow and develop through teamwork and a diverse range of projects, programs and challenging work. We trust our people to deliver, so when you work with OES, you will join a team who are empowered to impact every day.

The Opportunity

As our Multimedia Editor, you’ll be the go‑to specialist for all things editing and post‑production. You’ll work closely with marketing managers, creative directors, and production teams to create high‑quality, engaging live‑action content across a range of platforms and formats. From cutting and colour grading to audio mixing and basic motion graphics, you'll bring creative ideas and technical excellence to every project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit live‑action marketing and social video content to a high standard
  • Apply colour grading, audio mixing, captions and basic graphics across multiple aspect ratios
  • Collaborate on creative briefs from pre‑production through to delivery
  • Advise on post‑production workflows, software, hardware and best practices
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, technology and editing methods
  • Attend shoots to provide post‑production insights and create paper edits
  • Coordinate with internal and external post‑production contributors
  • Support parallel teams such as Learning Design and Social Media when needed

About you

You’re a proactive, solutions‑focused editor with a strong creative voice and a love for storytelling. You thrive in a collaborative environment and stay calm and organised under pressure.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in post‑production
  • Strong skills across Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Premiere Pro) and Mac OS
  • Experience working on set and understanding production workflows
  • Ability to communicate with emotional intelligence and confidence
  • A self‑driven approach with great time management and problem‑solving skills
  • A passion for innovation, new tools, and emerging edit trends

What Success Looks Like

  • Delivering projects on time, to brief, and to budget
  • Staying one step ahead of challenges
  • Bringing creativity, passion and commercial awareness to every project
  • Contributing to a collaborative, positive team culture

What’s in it for you?

Along with joining a passionate, energetic and highly skilled team, this role will allow you to gain exposure to many growth and development opportunities. OES offers a hybrid, flexible approach to work, where we work 2-3 days from our state-of-the-art Cremorne office, and the rest from home (or wherever you choose!). Breakfast, snacks, table tennis, Nintendo Switch are all available in the office, as well as weekly staff drinks. Ultimately, you will be joining a values-driven, collaborative business where your creativity and innovation will be nurtured and celebrated.

We pride ourselves on being a 'People First' employer and if you join the OES Team, you will benefit from:

  • Flexible, hybrid work for genuine career-life fit (2-3 days in our Cremorne Office)
  • Professional development and mentoring
  • OES Culture Club and events calendar
  • Health and wellbeing activities
  • Annual flu vaccinations
  • Paid parental leave
  • Purchased leave
  • Study assistance and leave for eligible employees
  • Mental health support resources and Employee assistance program (EAP)
  • Income protection insurance
  • Access to corporate health insurance rates

If this opportunity excites you, please APPLY NOW with your CV, along with a link to a portfolio featuring a 2025 showreel and other commercial and creative work samples.

At OES, we are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse environment, where we encourage candidates of any nationality, age, background, disability, and gender identity to apply. If you feel aligned to the role and would like to further explore your suitability, we welcome your application and would love to consider your fit for the role at OES.
