Are you creative, adaptable, and passionate about developing impactful learning experiences? Do you enjoy working on diverse projects and bringing ideas to life with engaging multimedia content? If you’re someone who thrives in a dynamic team environment and has a flair for both design and learning, this role is for you.

In our Learning Developer role, no two days are the same—one day you might be collaborating with subject matter experts to develop eLearning modules, and the next, you’re out in the field capturing stories with our rangers for face-to-face workshops. From storyboarding and graphic design to media editing and instructional design, you’ll play a key part in making knowledge shareable across the NLC.

About the Role:

As the Learning Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of developing innovative learning content that supports NLC staff in building their skills and capability. Whether it’s creating multimedia-rich eLearning packages, facilitating content development with subject matter experts, or developing instructional videos, your work will make a real difference.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, and delivering engaging learning experiences, both online and face-to-face.
  • Creating multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and interactive tools, to enhance learning engagement.
  • Collaborating with teams across the NLC to turn their expertise into shareable learning resources.
  • Managing end-to-end instructional design projects, from scoping to evaluation.
  • Supporting learning initiatives that align with organisational goals and workforce needs.

About You:

We’re looking for someone with a creative edge, strong technical skills, and a knack for bringing learning to life. Ideally, you’ll have a background in L&D, instructional design, or multimedia content creation. If you’re a Graphic Designer or Content Creator looking to expand into workplace Learning Development, we’d love to hear from you too.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have experience developing eLearning or multimedia content and are proficient in using eLearning authoring tools and LMS.
  • Are organised, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Enjoy collaborating with diverse teams and engaging with stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Have excellent communication skills and can translate complex information into engaging content.
