CSL - AustraliaAustraliaYour RoleCSL Behring is looking for a Process Engineer to join the Utilities Department at our Broadmeadows site. Your primary role as part of the Utilities Department is to provide a reliable source of Utilities (available and cGMP quality compliant) to Manufacturing Operations.Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager, you will provide professional engineering services including engineering best practice on equipment selection, maintenance, operation, performance monitoring and improvement on our relevant systems (HVAC, pure water systems, pure steam, bulk reagents, gases, and mechanical services).Your ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Process Engineer Manager you will : Meet regulatory requirements by being familiar with and following the relevant regulatory guidelines for manufacture of medicinal products for human use.Ensure health, safety and security at work, with specific responsibilities identified for Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders in BMW-SOP-000037946 : EHS Communication and Reporting and COF-SOP-000415460 : Global Environmental, Health and Safety Event Reporting SOP.Achieve objectives agreed with the Process Engineer Manager under the Individual Performance Management (IPM) program.Support Utilities Operations and develop sound engineering solutions to improve the reliability and effectiveness of the Utilities services equipment.Supervise and coordinate technical personnel and contractors during maintenance, major shutdowns and servicing works.Ensure operations comply with cGMP and company standards for quality.Comply with OH&S requirements and CSL procedures, including the Clearance to Work System.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure new projects and equipment installations provide a reliable source of Utilities (available and cGMP quality compliant) to the Manufacturing Operations.Your ExperienceDegree in an appropriate discipline (mechanical, electrical or chemical) from a recognised tertiary educational institution, with eligibility for professional membership of the relevant College of the Institute of Engineers, Australia.2+ years experience with pharmaceutical cGMP utilities plant, including maintenance and / or operation of Clean room HVAC, water systems (WFI & Purified Water), pure steam systems and critical gases.Broad theoretical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and nominal work experience.Work under close supervision to achieve operational targets with direct impact on departmental results.Solve problems that are not typically difficult or complex, most often existing within own job area.Explain facts, policies, and practices related to job area.To apply, submit your CV no later than Monday 6th January 2025.Our BenefitsWe encourage you to make your well-being a priority.
