Job description

Golding is a successful mining, urban and civil infrastructure project management services business with projects and operations across Queensland and South Australia. We are reliable and cost effective, working hard to achieve successful outcomes for our clients by working with them in ways that create and deliver value.

Golding are seeking experienced Production Operators to join our team at Curragh Mine, near Blackwater, working on a Drive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) 7/7 rotating roster. Local employees are eligible for a Housing Allowance, whereas non-local employees receive Camp Accommodation in Blackwater and Meals. Bus transport between camp and site are also provided.

We are looking for Operators that can operate and are experienced in operating the following:

Excavators (highly regarded): Caterpillar 6060BH, Hitachi EX3600-5, EX5600-6, Liebherr R996B
Dozers: Caterpillar D10T, D11R, D11T
Graders: Caterpillar 16H, 18, 18M, 24M
Loaders: Komatsu WA600, WA700, Caterpillar 993K
Haul Trucks: Komatsu 730, 830, Hitachi EH4000, Caterpillar 785
Water Trucks: Komatsu 785

Role requirements

Demonstrated commitment to safety and site compliance;
Proven ability to work productively and professionally;
Current Training Transcripts;
Current Drivers Licence;
Current Standard 11;
Current Coal Board Medical (or ability to pass);
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A as required;
Current Trainer Assessor qualifications and/or experience in a mining environment would be highly regarded;
People with pit dewatering experience are also encouraged to apply.
