• Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS)
• is a free statewide service that supports parents and families of children from birth to five years of age, who live across metropolitan, regional and rural areas in South Australia.

With over 100 clinics across South Australia, CaFHS helps parents and families to understand their child's health, development, and wellbeing needs, which can include breastfeeding, sleeping, settling, introducing solids, parenting and play and development. Each year, CaFHS provides over 75,000 family consultations via in clinic or at home appointments, telehealth (phone) or virtually.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Northern Metro Community team as a Social Worker in a

• Full time / Part time, Ongoing / Temporary
• capacity.

As the

• CaFHS Social Worker
• you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve the early identification, assessment and care planning for families with complex needs and facing adversity. You will look to strengthen a family's ability to cope and solve problems, cultivate a positive outlook for the future, and help them better understand available resources.

The role is based in a CaFHS site but works across regions, including Torrens House, a residential intensive program for mother with babies who are experiencing feeding, settling issues.

• About You

To be successful in this role you would need to :

• Hold a degree or equivalent qualification for full membership in the Australian Association of Social Workers.
• Have strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team.
• Be capable of independent, responsible work with limited supervision.
• Demonstrate knowledge in clinical social work, including group work, developmental theory, and various assessment and intervention models for children, adolescents, and families.
• Have extensive clinical experience in managing complex child and adolescent mental health issues.
• Be proficient in implementing clinical assessments and interventions using diverse theoretical models.
