Overview
Join a growing team that develops strategic plans and guides the organisation in recovery from a major cyber incident. You will be responsible for ensuring detailed technical rebuild and recovery plans and processes are complete, accurate, tested, communicated, and approved across recovery stakeholders. You will work with Group Technology and Business Units to ensure there are effective rebuild and recovery strategies in place and help strengthen the organisational‑wide belief that everyone is accountable for operational resilience and cyber security.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter support to Global Technology as they develop detailed technical rebuild and recovery plans for cyber scenarios.
- Perform QA reviews of the work of teams across IT Services, Solution Engineering, Database Operations, Networking and Development teams.
- Give technical advice and support the development and execution of bare‑metal cyber rebuild tests.
- Help improve delivery effectiveness by identifying common rebuild and recovery patterns and procedures to build out a library.
- Work closely with Service Continuity Management and Business teams to validate and enhance the mechanisms needed to recover from a major cyber incident.
Qualifications
Deep architecture and engineering experience in the financial services sector, specialising in application, infrastructure, and service management.Experience designing, building, managing and / or migrating infrastructure, critical applications, and databases in large organisations.Knowledge of cloud migration, network management, datacentre, business continuity, virtualisation, IaaS and storage projects.Hands‑on experience with Linux, Mainframe and Oracle infrastructure.Familiarity with AWS, HP, Dell EMC, VMware, CyberArk, RSA and other cutting‑edge technologies.Experience with CPS 230, technical risk, resilience and / or general cyber security controls.Excellent stakeholder management skills and a self‑driven attitude.A passion for cyber security and a desire to be part of a rapidly developing, critical function within the Group.Working with us
