Job descriptionDiploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines. Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma / Anaphylaxis. Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor. Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place. Previous childcare service management experience. Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred). Demonstrated leadership skills for team development. Leadership Days - All Service Leaders come together offsite for networking and professional development. Leadership Program - That supports you on your leadership journey. POD’s - Be part of a POD where you can access your Peers for support and guidance. CEEC Councils (Quality, Safety and Leadership) - Service Leaders form our councils, and consult and endorses changes before they’re launched. Lead with Purpose at Our Lady of Mt Carmel OSHC! We’re seeking a dedicated OSHC Coordinator to oversee daily operations, design inspiring programs, and help create a welcoming, inclusive space for children, families, and staff. For over 20 years, Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish Outside School Hours Care has been a trusted part of our parish and school community. We provide before school care, after school care, and vacation care for up to 105 children in a safe, caring, and engaging environment. You’ll be supported by an Assistant Coordinator and an experienced Portfolio Manager. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
- Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.
- Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs that cater to our children's interests and needs.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.
- Promote our service within the local community in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
