Health Clinician, Early Intervention & Prevention of Chronic Lymphoedema Pilot – Tweed
Tweed Valley Hospital is seeking a qualified Lymphoedema Therapist (Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist) to provide specialist outpatient early intervention lymphoedema therapy and related services for eligible clients of the Northern New South Wales Local Health District.
Employment Type : Temporary Part Time (186 weeks). Position Classification : Health Clinician Level 3. Remuneration : $112,396.00 - $116,038.00 per annum, pro rata. Hours Per Week : 8. Requisition ID : REQ617851.
The Early Intervention and Prevention of Chronic Lymphoedema model of care is for patients who have undergone surgical removal of lymph nodes to treat breast cancer, including surveillance, detection and treatment of early stages of lymphoedema.
The Pilot also provides post‑breast surgery care for musculoskeletal support and cording management, and early‑stage lymphoedema treatment to reduce progression to chronic lymphoedema.
