Director, 2XM Recruit – White Collar / Professional Services
Location : Joondalup (3 days) & East Perth (2 days), WA
Salary : $90,000 – $100,000 p / a + Super
Employment Type : Permanent, Full‑Time Position
Working Hours : 7am – 3 : 30pm
About the Role : Reporting to the Head of HSE, Governance and Compliance, you will play a key role supporting two rail sites in the delivery of safe and compliant operations across the ongoing maintenance of their rail depots and rail maintenance operations. This position will see you conducting audits, risk assessments, and inspections while also providing training and guidance to teams on the ground. As it forms part of a smaller team, it requires a person comfortable wearing multiple hats and able to respond to urgent needs as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Depot Managers in implementing and maintaining HSEQ management systems.
- Review and monitor HSEQ Plans, subcontractor documentation, and SWMS.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and safety walks to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company standards.
- Facilitate inductions, pre‑starts, toolbox talks, and on‑site training.
- Support incident and injury management processes, including return‑to‑work requirements.
- Monitor depot risk assessments, ensuring new risks are identified and controlled.
- Prepare and compile monthly reporting, updating internal systems as required.
- Promote a positive safety culture across each site.
What You’ll Need
Minimum qualification in Health and Safety (Cert 4 in H&S as a minimum).Ability to pass Rail Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening.At least 2 years of HSEQ experience within heavy industry.Competent in the use of Microsoft Office 365 and its associated programs to facilitate reports and investigations.Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, codes, and management systems.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Proven ability to foster and drive a positive safety culture.Keen problem‑solving and analytical skills.Accountability, reliability, and strong attention to detail.Why Join?
