HSEQ Co‑Ordinator / HSEQ Advisor / HSEQ Officer

- Salary : $120,000 - $140,000 p / a + Super (dependent on experience) + Vehicle Allowance

- Working Hours : 8am - 4 : 30pm

About the Role
Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will play a key role in supporting project and site managers in the delivery of safe and compliant projects across both Mechanical and Electrical construction packages of work. This position will see you conducting audits, risk assessments, and inspections while also providing training and guidance to teams on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
Assist project and site managers to implement and maintain HSEQ management systems.Review and monitor HSEQ Plans, subcontractor documentation, and SWMS.Conduct site audits, inspections, and safety walks to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company standards.Facilitate inductions, pre‑starts, toolbox talks, and on‑site training.Support incident and injury management processes, including return‑to‑work requirements.Monitor project risk assessments, ensuring new risks are identified and controlled.Prepare and compile monthly reporting, updating internal systems as required.Promote a positive safety culture across sites and projects.What You’ll Need
Minimum qualification in Health and Safety.At least 5 years’ HSEQ experience within construction or a related industry.Competent in the use of Microsoft Office 365 and its associated programs.Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, codes, and management systems.Current return‑to‑work qualifications.Experience with WorkCover, workers’ compensation, or occupational rehabilitation highly desirable.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Proven ability to foster and drive a positive safety culture.Keen problem‑solving and analytical skills.Accountability, reliability, and strong attention to detail.Why Join?
