The current CEO of the Canberra Business Chamber (the Chamber) is ready to hand over the reins and make room for a new CEO. The Chamber is the voice of business in the Canberra region, supporting business to start, grow and thrive. The Chamber connects businesspeople, so no matter where you are on your journey you can build a strong commercial network.

Your position, as CEO of the Chamber, is a high profile one, and will put you firmly in the spotlight as the place and person local businesses look to for support. One of your key strengths will be an ability and a desire to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders who include the member base, the media and government.

Your role is influential in lobbying and advocating on behalf of your members, as well as identifying ways to continually grow and strengthen the membership base. You will report to a dynamic and experienced board of Directors who are passionate about the Chamber and its purpose and, will support and guide you in your position as CEO. You will also have the support of an experienced and dedicated team.

As well as strategically positioning the Chamber to achieve its goals, advocacy, and broad stakeholder management, you will have the usual CEO responsibility for governance and financial sustainability of the Chamber and fostering a culture to ensure attraction and retention of staff and members.
