For over 20 years, Bidfood has provided quality ingredients to the foodservice and catering industry in Australia. With 50+ locations and a team of over 2,300 nationwide, Bidfood is recognised as one of the country’s leading distributors to the industry. An opportunity exists for a Sales Representative at our foodservice branch located in Botany.

About the Role :

We are expanding our high achieving sales team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this position is responsible for the growth of sales to new and existing customer bases within the region and the development of long-term business relationships.

Duties :

Maintain an existing customer base whilst focusing on new business growth
Achieve sales KPI’s and meet quarterly targets
Develop new business opportunities to increase sales
Create and maintain customer pricing and margins
Identify, develop and manage new areas of growth
Work co-operatively and competitively within a busy sales team environment

Key Skills and Experience :

NSW Police Clearance Check

Chef, Culinary or venue / café / restaurant experience advantageous.

Exceptional negotiation and customer service skills

Sales experience in managing customer accounts and growing business advantageous but not essential

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad customer base

Self-driven and highly organised with the ability to work autonomously

Professional personal presentation
