In this position, you will collaborate with people with a disability, as well as their families and carers, to support them in reaching their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Facilitate understanding and access to the NDIS through workshops and one-on-one discussions.
  • Collaborate with eligible individuals to assess their circumstances, identify needs, and establish goals and support plans.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with participants to evaluate the effectiveness of their plans.
  • Support participants in applying for plan variations or reassessments when adjustments are required.
  • Guide participants in accessing and effectively using the supports and services detailed in their NDIS plans.
  • What we need from you :

  • Strong administrative experience – proficient in computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive within a performance-driven environment.
  • Proven relevant experience and / or lived experience.
  • Expertise in linking individuals to suitable supports, promoting collaborative and positive outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of the local community and the opportunities available for social and economic participation for people with disabilities.
  • Currently possess or be eligible to obtain a valid Working with Children Card and / or Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, along with successful completion of NDIA entry-level checks.
