Job descriptionHMW design a design-led international ecommerce company Lead, grow and mentor a team of Product Designers Introduce and advocate for ux-research and design thinking practices Take the Product Managers, engineers, business stakeholders (i.e. everyone) on the journey Lead the Design evolution and embed design thinking practices in all parts of the delivery lifecycle Sponsor the use of user research and testing through the development lifecycle as a way to validate ideas and deliver experiences that delight our customers Own and drive the development of a design system Collaborate with Marketing and Branding to align the customer experience and visual elements Connect the dots between user journeys to streamline the experience Anything else you think should be added to this list

This is the success story of an Australian ecommerce start-up, that in the past decade has scaled to become both the #1 in Australia and an international success with over $300 mil in sales in the last 12 months with an international team over 600 strong.
It is continuing its disruptive growth story in an industry sized at $15bn, with the desire to shift practices from sales-led to design-led.
At the helm of this new chapter is a customer-centric executive with a CX background who is looking for a Design Manager who can take the business on a journey to reshape both the business and the entire user experience throughout all parts of the customer lifecycle, covering both web and mobile platforms.
