Responsibilities
Lead the development of major team-scoped projects; participate in cross-team initiatives.Actively participate in product work within the team : provide feedback, suggest solutions, and use technical insights to improve the product.Maintain a strong understanding of the team's domain from both product and engineering perspectives.Provide feedback on code reviews and contribute to the shared codebase.Debug and resolve technical and business issues.Participate in non-team activities such as support rotations, hiring processes, RFC discussions, etc.Mentor and guide other engineers.Investigate, propose, and participate in platform improvements.Design and implement APIs with performance, scalability, and maintainability in mind.Must have (professional experience)
Significant experience as a Backend Engineer with Elixir, including building, shipping, and maintaining a complex software project.Postgres (or similar relational database).CI / CD experience (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or similar).Nice to have

Remote's Total Rewards philosophy is to ensure fair, unbiased compensation and fair equity pay along with competitive benefits in all locations we operate. We pay above in-location rates and hire globally. Salary ranges are geo-based and depend on role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is USD 51,850 to USD 116,650. Actual pay depends on location, skills, experience, training, business needs, and market conditions.
