Are you an experienced and motivated retail professional with a passion for customer service and operational leadership? Despresso Caffe is seeking a dedicated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our café, located in Bateau Bay, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key leadership role as Retail Manager in a thriving café environment.

Position : Full-time

Salary range : $ 70,000 - $80,000 + superannuation

About the Role :

As Retail Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring it runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming, safe, and well-organized environment that delivers exceptional experiences for every customer.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the café to ensure efficiency, profitability, and excellent customer service.
• Manage inventory levels, coordinate stock control and deliveries, and ensure timely replenishment to meet business needs.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies, pricing policies, and promotional activities to drive sales and meet business objectives.
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives, in-store displays, and campaigns to enhance customer engagement and revenue.
• Maintain financial records, oversee cash handling, daily banking, and contribute to budget management and financial reporting.
• Recruit, train, roster, supervise, and support staff to maximise team performance and ensure compliance with workplace policies.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and adherence to brand and safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation, food safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Analyse sales reports, track performance metrics, and provide regular updates to the business owner.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure reliable stock and operational support.
• Identify, report, and resolve maintenance, safety, or operational issues to ensure a secure and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
