As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply and Distribution Manager to join our team.

Role Overview

As the Supply and Distribution Manager at Streamlined Logistics, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring products move seamlessly from suppliers to customers. You’ll be overseeing inventory control, distribution networks, and working closely with suppliers and partners to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective logistics solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize the supply chain, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution logistics.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and transport partners to ensure efficient delivery and stock levels.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory, ensuring accuracy and the smooth flow of goods.
  • Forecast demand trends and collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Manage and supervise the shipping, warehousing, and distribution operations, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Continuously assess and improve logistics processes, implementing best practices to enhance speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure all logistics operations are compliant with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Provide reports on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, marketing) to align logistics operations with company objectives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of post-qualification employment experience in supply chain management, logistics, or distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate with suppliers and partners.
  • Ability to analyse data to identify trends and improve processes.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven with the ability to work independently and in a team.

    • Education & Qualifications

    A relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (e.g., Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree) is preferred.

    Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., APICS, CILT) is a plus but not mandatory.
