Dynamic Refrigeration Solutions is a trusted Northern Territory-based company specializing in the supply and installation of commercial catering equipment for the hospitality industry, and we pride ourselves on providing high-quality solutions to commercial and industrial clients across the NT.

We are currently seeking a qualified Appliance Technician to join our dynamic team. We are looking for candidates who are gasfitters or electricians by trade and are eager to apply their skills to appliance servicing and repairs.

The Position

As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial catering equipment. We look after a wide range of Cooking Equipment : Combi ovens and ovens (gas or electric), grills and griddles, deep fryers, steamers, convection ovens, microwaves, salamanders and broilers, pasta cookers, and Food Preparation Equipment : food processors, mixers (stand mixers, planetary mixers), slicers (meat slicers, vegetable slicers), grinders (meat grinders, coffee grinders), blenders, dough sheeters, vegetable peelers, food scales, and Dishwashing Equipment : dishwashers (undercounter, conveyor, flight type), glasswashers, pot washers, dish drying racks, and more.

Our team of skilled technicians are available 24 hours, 7 days a week for emergency breakdown repairs. We have built our business on our professionalism, integrity, and high-quality work.

Key Duties Include :

Installation, maintenance, and repair of gas and electrical appliances.
Diagnosing faults and performing efficient and effective repairs.
Reading and interpreting technical specifications and manuals.
Ensuring compliance with gas and electrical safety standards.
Providing high-quality customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Adhering to safety standards and company policies.
Supervising and mentoring apprentices where required.

Key Requirements :

Trade qualification as a gas fitter or electrician (or equivalent).

Proven experience working with gas or electrical appliances.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Commitment to safe work practices.

Willingness to work in remote and regional locations as required.
