Location : Springwood Hospital.

Remuneration : $34.46 – $35.54 per hour.

Hours per week : 16.

About the Hospital

Springwood Hospital opened in 1976 as a community-based hospital in the Blue Mountains. It provides a range of allied health, rehabilitation, aged care, and palliative care services. The hospital prides itself on a friendly, supportive team environment where every staff member plays a vital role in creating a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

You will provide high quality administrative support to hospital departments, ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations and excellent customer service to patients, staff and visitors. Your tasks include :

  • Providing front‑line reception and administrative support to patients and visitors.
  • Managing patient admissions, discharges and bookings in line with hospital policies.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry within hospital systems.
  • Assisting clinical and management staff with administrative and clerical tasks.

What You Will Bring to the Role

  • Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong computer skills including extensive experience with word processing, data entry, and procurement.
  • Well‑developed customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation and time‑management skills.
  • Capacity to undertake a diverse range of administrative tasks in a high‑pressure, high‑volume work environment, with the ability and willingness to multi‑task and adapt.
  • Enthusiastic and an experienced administrator supporting a small team.
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to use it for work purposes, including long‑distance travel within the LHD.
