Registered Nurse - Surgical Wards

About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Surgical Wards as a Registered Nurse, where you will be responsible for :

• Provide nursing services in health service settings, ensuring quality care for clients / patients and their families.
• Collaborate with other health professionals and partner with children, youth, families, and agencies for optimal health outcomes.
• Provide education and information to clients and families.
• Offer support, direction, and education to students, nurses, and other health professionals.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have :

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge and understanding of the role of the Registered General Nurse within a healthcare setting.
