Our client has a contract for a Senior Project Manager Delivery responsible for preparing scope of work and pricing estimates for the delivery of a diverse range of minor works projects. The clients property portfolio is diverse with over 70% being heritage assets. The role is hands on and includes visiting sites, measuring up for refurbishments and coordinating with the delivery contractor.  Working in a fast paced asset management environment you will liaise with a broad range of stakeholders, both internal and external, overseeing project planning and execution, delivering high-quality commercial, community and operational spaces. This includes driving sound financial analysis and controls for the projects focussed on the planning, design and the alterations, additions and construction of spaces. The role ensures the establishment of clear baselines for scope, cost, and program with the tenant and associated project teams, stakeholder consultation and ensures management activities are adequately planned to meet the agreed project objectives. You will also monitor and prepare reports on each project’s progress and status to highlight any risks to delivery and apply corrective actions to stay within budget and schedule.

Suitable candidates will have relevant tertiary qualifications and have a background in HVAC, building or service management or extensive relative industry experience in a closely related technical role. You should have substantial experience in preparing scopes of works and estimates and a solid understanding of contract and commercial principles. You will have strong commercial awareness and a proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary asset renewal projects with an understanding of heritage buildings to navigate risks. You should also have a sound understanding of the common risks that can affect the efficient and effective delivery of projects and be able to offer solutions for rectification.

Casual Loading

Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
