Overview

Registered Nurse – Oncology (Day Treatment – Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre)

Location : The Alfred – Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre (PFMCC)

Employment type : Part‑time (64 hours per fortnight)

Grade : RN Grade 2 – Year 2‑8 (YP3‑YP9)

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to adult solid tumour and blood cancer patients in the Day Treatment area.
• Perform chemotherapy administration, cannulation and CVAD management with excellent communication skills.
• Collaborate with medical, haematology and oncology teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation in the electronic health record.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and staff education activities.
