Refinery (Processing Plant) Supervisor

Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our established and dedicated team.

Our Murrin Murrin site in WA's northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. • The Role

The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who is responsible for supervising the duties of your team to align to production capability and plant utilisation with overall business objectives.

You will be responsible for :

• Ensuring productivity objectives are effectively communicated to your team to optimise plant throughput and minimising equipment downtime
• Allocating day-to-day work priorities during shutdown preparation to a range of disciplines, ensuring work is conducted safely
• Motivating employees to perform, measuring team performance and addressing issues as they arise
• Developing and maintaining a productive relationship with crew members whilst assisting in the development of operator training programmes
• Responsible for the health and safety of all personnel and the reporting of any environmental and / or WH&S incidents, accidents, or discharges
• Assisting in achieving operating budgets and contributing to improvement opportunities in the plant
• About You

You will also have :

• Experience in a supervisory role within a continuous operating plant
• Understanding of chemical and mechanical processes
• Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale, continuous operating processing plants
• Proven experience aligned to following workplace HSE procedures, legislation policies, and management systems
• A current and valid Australian Manual Driver's Licence
