We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team in Barcelona or Milan (Hybrid) to create a one-stop-shop for our customers, where they can find the best travel options for their needs and experience post-booking service in our best-rated mobile app. In the Travel Things area, our teams are building our future ancillaries retail platform to enhance the customer experience across new and innovative touchpoints.

What you will do

• Create distributed, scalable microservices platforms with high-quality, clean code, following SOLID principles, design patterns, and TDD.
• Promote the use of microservices, clean code, SOLID principles, and TDD to the team.
• Be independent when working with modules in your area of expertise, in any phase of the SDLC.
• Design and develop advanced systems and innovative solutions; share them with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Code solutions with high quality through good design, attention to detail, and test quality; act as a reference for best practices within the team.
• Work in a fully agile organization using Kanban to deliver business value continuously and improve efficiency.
• Actively participate in team ceremonies, events, and product definition and ideation processes.

You will work in a fully agile organization, participating in team ceremonies and product ideation as part of a high-performing cross-functional team, alongside other engineers, product managers, architects, and UX designers. You will receive mentorship to help develop your career quickly.
