Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager (Sales Representative) within our Power Tools division to grow our presence in South Australia (including Darwin) . You’ll lead sales, manage relationships, and deliver profitability in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You’ll have a Tool‑of‑Trade vehicle, local autonomy, and high expectations. This is a full‑time, permanent home office‑based opportunity.

This role will commence in January 2026.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement a territory plan to achieve sales and profit goals and grow market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and end users.
  • Hunt new business opportunities and promote product launches to increase brand awareness.
  • Gather market trends and competitor insights to inform strategy.
  • Provide reliable sales forecasts; identify gaps and take action to bridge them.
  • Represent Bosch at trade shows, new store openings, and customer events.

Qualifications

We are looking for an innovative thinker who works well in a team environment, is results focused and displays a high level of attention to detail.

  • Proven sales experience with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM tools and web‑based reporting (Tableau or similar).
  • Proficiency with MS Office and MS Teams.
  • Sharp business acumen, strong market and product knowledge.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, work independently, and travel regularly within state and occasionally interstate.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Experience in power tools, hardware, or within the construction industry.
