Job description

Attractive remuneration package ($135k - $150k) with a thriving company

  • Join on a full-time permanent basis in Malaga
  • Full training provided on the technical aspects of the role

Our client is seeking a full-time, permanent, Mechanical Fitter for repairs and maintenance to fixed plant and site infrastructure in Malaga. This role will also require 3 / 4 days per month visiting remote mine sites.

  • About the opportunity
  • Performing repairs and maintenance to machinery
  • Providing high level diagnostics and fault finding on fixed plant and infrastructure equipment (e.g., roller presses and other mining equipment)
  • Attending to diagnostics of breakdowns
  • Scheduled maintenance, installations and updates
  • Fault finding and repairing diverse hydraulic systems
  • Manufacturing of various parts at the Malaga workshop
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work independently and as part of a team.
  • This role is offering $100k - $105k base + Super + OT + yearly bonus, with the total package per year ranging from $135k - $150k. Remote mine site visits for shutdowns or installations have a base loading of 30% on the first 12 hours and an additional 50% loading for more hours after that is also offered.
  • About you

    • You must have full working rights to work in Australia as visa sponsorship and relocation is not provided for this role.
