The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is on a bold journey toward Brisbane 2032 and beyond. Following the extraordinary success of Queensland athletes at the recent Olympic and Paralympic Games, we are focused on delivering even more medal‑winning moments through to Los Angeles 2028 and our home Games in 2032.

About the Role

A casual relieving Strength & Conditioning (S&C) coach. You will support a range of sports and locations, working with elite athletes in a casual capacity. This is your chance to make an impact in a dynamic, rewarding environment while contributing to extraordinary sporting success.

About You

We’re looking for individuals who :

Possess a degree qualification in sport and exercise science or an equivalent (minimum).

Hold Level 2 ASCA or the ability to attain it prior to commencement.

Have completed Sports Integrity Australia Antidoping Fundamentals and Annual Update, First Aid & CPR.

Hold a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

Have experience delivering S&C programs to high‑performance athletes.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Are adaptable, reliable, and committed to athlete development.
