- Lead the implementation of faculty improvement priorities aligned with the school's strategic direction.

- Lead community and enrichment initiatives that showcase the relevance and impact of the Humanities.
Curriculum and Assessment
Provide instructional leadership in curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment, ensuring inclusivity and differentiation for all learners.Oversee curriculum delivery across Years 7‑10 and senior Humanities subjects, maintaining rigorous academic standards.Ensure alignment with the Australian Curriculum (AC), QCE, and student pathway planning.Lead moderation, quality assurance, and consistency of assessment practices across the faculty.Building Professional Capacity
Strengthen teacher capability through professional learning, coaching, and feedback.Lead the Setting Professional Goals (SPG) process and support staff in achieving targeted growth.Mentor early‑career and provisionally registered teachers, and support senior teachers in leadership of curriculum and pedagogy.Model high‑impact teaching strategies and foster professional collaboration within and beyond the faculty.Student and Staff Support
Provide guidance and support to teachers in behaviour management and curriculum‑related matters.Champion the consistent application of the school's learning and engagement policies.Ensure continuity of learning during staff absences through effective planning and coordination.Data and Reporting
Use student achievement and engagement data to drive improvement, identify trends, and inform practice.Lead data‑informed conversations with faculty members to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.Manage QCAA senior data submissions and reporting requirements with accuracy and efficiency.Please view the Role Description for a full list of responsibilities.
