The opportunity
As a Registered Nurse at Coppin Centre, you will :
- Deliver safe, evidence‑based nursing care that meets the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Lead and support Personal Care Assistants, ensuring appropriate supervision and delegation.
- Complete assessments, care planning, progress notes, and clinical documentation accurately and on time.
- Administer medications and clinical treatments in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Monitor resident health changes and implement timely interventions.
- Work collaboratively with families, GPs, allied health, and internal clinical leaders.
- Support continuous improvement, safety initiatives, and resident wellbeing programs.
- Promote a calm, respectful, and resident‑focused care environment.
About You
You will be a nurse who is genuinely passionate about aged care and committed to delivering high‑quality clinical care. You will also bring :
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in residential aged care (highly regarded).
- Strong clinical judgement and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to supervise, support, and mentor care staff.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- A positive, flexible, and resident‑centred approach.
- Commitment to the Aged Care Quality Standards, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements
- It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.
- All Aged Care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and to receive the Flu‑Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid‑19 vaccination prior to commencement.
