Electrical Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team on a state-of-the-art heavy lift / pipelay vessel. In this key role, you will lead and coordinate the electrical team, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise and mentor the electrical team (up to six people), assigning tasks and providing technical guidance

Coordinate equipment, materials, and resources to enable the team to complete assigned work scopes

Enforce strict adherence to all applicable safety standards across the team

Analyse technical drawings and schematics to plan and execute electrical work activities

Optimise personnel and equipment utilisation in collaboration with project supervisors

Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure adherence to planned timelines

Provide regular progress reports on work completed, quantities installed, and resources utilized

Hands-on support for maintenance on critical systems like tensioners, winches, thrusters, and propellers

Implement permit-to-work protocols and liaise with other disciplines on joint operations

Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to housekeeping standards

Required Skills & Experience :

Proven track record as an Electrical Foreman or Senior Electrician in the offshore / marine industry

Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, tensioners, winches, thrusters, and propellers

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities

Familiar with reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Strong commitment to implementing safety protocols and procedures

Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
