We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic retailers to manage the successful operation of our supermarket stores in Arnhem Land NT. This role involves travel between remote communities to provide relief support to our stores as needed. Just bring your luggage, and we will take care of the rest!

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage the successful operation of a supermarket in a remote Indigenous community.
  • Train and mentor local team members.
  • Deliver on ALPA's nutrition policy.
  • Replenish and monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and order additional products to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, nutrition, and local stakeholders to meet community needs.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience with electronic retail systems for stock control, point of sale, and staff management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills adaptable to diverse education levels, languages, and cultures.
  • Ability to manage challenges unique to remote communities, including limited resources, unpredictable supply chains, and cultural sensitivities.
