Your New Role And Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Cyber Security Analyst to join our 24 / 7 Security Operations Centre shift team. In this role you will perform crucial cyber security services to support and protect our personnel and systems in the Australian Defence Force. You will work with deployed Defence personnel in a rapidly maturing environment where you can make a real difference. The shift cycle is 12-hour blocks, with 4 or 5 days off between cycles.

You will be an integral member of the Managed Detection and Response shift team. Responsibilities include monitoring networks for anomalies, events and alerts and performing basic triage. Depending on the issue you may manage the event end to end, be mentored by Senior Security Operations Analysts, or escalate as appropriate.
