Procurement Officer

ALG is currently recruiting a Procurement Officer on behalf of our aviation client based in Brisbane . The successful candidate will support Base Maintenance operations by coordinating the procurement and logistics of consumables, expendables, and rotables across the maintenance network.

Base pay range

A$85,000.00 / yr - A$90,000.00 / yr

Location : Brisbane, Australia

Employment Type : Full-Time (On-site preferred; hybrid flexibility by agreement)

Reporting To : Procurement Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Interpret maintenance work packages to identify and forecast material requirements for upcoming base maintenance events.
• Coordinate pre-induction procurement planning in collaboration with Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service providers.
• Manage service orders and ensure timely delivery of supplied parts to meet MRO induction timelines.
• Perform end-to-end procurement functions including sourcing, order placement, supplier coordination, and documentation control.
• Maintain compliance with Interface Procedures Manual (IPM) and all relevant procurement and safety policies.
• Track and report order progress, proactively managing delays or discrepancies that may affect maintenance performance.
• Support RFP processes, contract administration, and supplier performance reviews.
• Contribute to cost control, inventory optimisation, and procurement process improvements.
• Ensure data accuracy, documentation traceability, and adherence to internal and regulatory requirements.
• Promote safety and compliance culture through active participation in reporting systems (e.g. iQSMS).
