Head of Vendor Management & Strategic Sourcing

We’re looking for a Head of Vendor Management & Strategic Sourcing to join us, based in Hobart or Brisbane. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how we engage with vendors and drive strategic sourcing initiatives that create lasting value for MyState and our customers.

This is a specialised, high-impact role where you’ll be the driving force behind MyState’s vendor management and strategic sourcing. As a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to the business, you’ll set and execute sourcing strategies that deliver innovation, long-term value, and customer impact. Success in this role requires exceptional prioritisation, strong influencing skills, and a proactive strategic approach to managing vendor relationships.

This role is about more than contracts; it’s about creating commercial strategies that enable high-performing outcomes. From negotiating complex deals and overseeing the contract lifecycle to ensuring supplier performance and managing risk, you’ll be central to aligning vendor relationships with our business goals. You’ll work closely with legal, risk, and technology teams, ensuring a collaborative and integrated approach to how we partner.
