Defence Housing Australia (DHA) is looking for dedicated Property Managers and Senior Property Managers to support Australia's Defence personnel and their families by providing housing and housing related services.
Position : Property Manager & Senior Property Manager
Level : DHA Level 4 and DHA Level 5
Salary Range : $84,157 - $100,140 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation

About us
DHA was established in 1988 following passage of the Defence Housing Australia Act 1987 (DHA Act) to provide adequate and suitable housing for, and housing related services to, members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and their families. We remain committed to our purpose of providing housing, and housing related services, to ADF members and their families to support Defence’s operational needs.
DHA manages an expanding portfolio of housing solutions and provides housing for over 17,200 ADF members and their families and administers rent allowance for more than 16,000 ADF members and their families in private rental accommodation. DHA provides housing related services advising on eligibility, providing posting support, and managing bookings and allocation services for all DHA provisioned housing and on-base accommodation to approximately 60,000 ADF members.
About the role
As a Property Manager, you will be the face of DHA, directly supporting ADF families as they relocate and settle into their homes.
Our skilled team of Property Managers ensure properties are well maintained, that Defence families are satisfied, and investments are optimised. The team enjoys a unique blend of office and field work, including :

Previous experience in property management or other real estate sectors is advantageous but is not essential.
What you’ll be doing
Taking charge of a well maintained and established portfolio, you will have support with administrative tasks, leasing agents and modern systems, enjoying no after-hours or weekend work.
You will receive comprehensive onboarding, induction and ongoing training from dedicated specialist trainers to ensure your success in the role.
DHA supplies Property Managers with state-of-the-art tools including but not limited to iPads, laptops, access to a DHA vehicle, a mobile phone allowance with a DHA supplied SIM card, and easy to follow work instructions and internal guidelines.
