During our season which runs from March to November, this role is based at our pontoon complex in Talbot Bay working on a rotational roster. During the off-season, this role is based in Broome. This role assists in the maintenance and upkeep of all Horizontal Falls marine assets including but not limited to vessels, pontoons, and barges.Key responsibilities will include : Performing routine maintenance and repairs on marine vessels and assets to ensure their continuous and reliable operationConducting inspections, troubleshooting issues, and diagnosing any problems that may arise in vessels mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsAssisting in major repairs and overhauls, collaborating with contractors and suppliers as necessaryPlaying an active role in implementing preventative maintenance programs to maximise vessel performance and minimise downtimeMaintaining accurate records of maintenance activities through a digital asset management system (Helm), including logs, reports and documentation of all work performedEnsuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards and procedures governing marine maintenance and safety in addition to adherence with Company SOPs and operational proceduresCompletion of ad hoc maintenance tasks and repairs under the guidance of Marine ManagementAbout YouAs the ideal candidate you have an eye for detail and take pride in your work. You are a team player, while also able to work autonomously using your initiative and demonstrated problem solving skills.
