Base pay range

A$170,000.00 / yr - A$180,000.00 / yr

The Role

Lead a high-calibre team of Data Scientists.
Partner with stakeholders across the organisation and external parties to identify data-driven opportunities.
Stay current with AI, ML, and Data Science advancements, integrating cutting-edge techniques.
Design and deliver technical Data Science initiatives that create significant business value.
Develop and maintain advanced statistical and machine learning models.
Support digital advancements and innovative solutions that challenge the status quo.

Candidate

Proven track record in data science, applied statistics or machine learning.

Experience leading and mentoring Data Science teams.

Experience in commercial enterprise, agile environment.

Partnership experience with senior leaders on strategic initiatives.

Experience working in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments.

Excellent Python skills and SQL proficiency.

Academic background in statistics, data science, mathematics, computer science, actuarial studies or similar.

Strong logical, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and ability to deliver business solutions.
