Reporting to the Production Superintendent, this role is responsible for the day-to-day analysis and troubleshooting of the coal process as well as project managing small to medium process improvement projects.About the RoleThe specific responsibilities of this role will include : Daily monitoring of process trends, surveillance of processing equipment and formulating plans with production personnel to address process excursions in a timely manner.Identifying process improvement opportunities and project managing process improvement projects.Managing operational and process sampling programs to ensure accuracy and timeliness of results.Managing consumables delivery to ensure safe, reliable and timely delivery of consumables.Contractor management for consumables deliveries and sampling service providers to ensure safe and reliable service.Provide technical support and training assistance to production personnel.Roster and LocationMonday to Friday professional rosterBased on site at HVOAbout YouA formal qualification in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering.A demonstrated background in a similar role.Previous experience in coal processing.Exceptional communication skills.A high level of computer literacy.An alignment with the HVO Values of “Think Sharp”, “Dig In” and “Care”.Working for us isn’t like working at any old mine.
