About the role
As a key member of the Emergency Management team, this role will provide expert advice and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders, lead strategic negotiations, and take hands on action across all phases of emergency management, from planning and preparedness to response and recovery. Classification : Band 7 Commencing at $103,066 pa plus super (pro rata)

About you
The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly experienced professional with a background in Emergency Management and a solid understanding of local government planning requirements and the frameworks that support effective emergency response, relief and recovery. You will thrive in fast paced environments, enjoy problem-solving and have a sharp eye for detail. With strong communication skills, you will be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders and bring a safety first, solutions focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
