We're working on an exciting opportunity with a leading provider of insurance and financial services in Queensland, committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Recoveries Specialist to join our dynamic team based in the south of Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about debt recovery and insurance to make a significant impact within our organisation.

Role Overview : As a Recoveries Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing recovery processes related to insurance claims. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to ensure efficient resolution of recoveries, maintain high standards of customer service, and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and oversee the recovery of outstanding debts related to insurance claims.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to negotiate repayment plans and resolve disputes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of recovery activities and interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless case management and resolution.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and changes to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve recovery processes and outcomes.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in recoveries, debt collection, or a similar role, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to debt collection and insurance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
