Contract start 16 January 2023 to 12 months, with 12 months extensions. Roles available in Penrith, Parramatta, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart or Darwin.
The Policy, Markets and Insight Division supports the NDIS Commission's delivery of legislative functions through strategic policy development and advice focused on the regulatory framework, the provider market and workforce quality; data and analysis activities and other major projects and initiatives. This includes innovative and strategic thinking, data analysis and evidence reviews to solve complex policy issues that uphold the rights of people with disability through regulation of the NDIS market and to enable the provision of safe and quality supports. The Division supports the NDIS Commissioner with inquiries and reviews, delivery of NDIS workforce initiatives and administration of the NDIS support for providers grants program.

Data and Insights
The Data and Insights Team is responsible for the delivery of high-quality analytics that underpin data-driven decision-making and enables the Commission to ensure people with disability receive quality and safe supports and services under the NDIS. The team is accountable for data management and modelling, providing business intelligence to operational units, reporting on key metrics and trends and developing models to facilitate safeguarding. The team also provides regular, reliable and accurate data to senior leadership.
