BIM Coordinator

Job Description

BESIX Watpac have a rare opportunity to join our QLD Construction team as a BIM Coordinator, assisting projects and pre-contracts with BIM workflows and coordination. The key responsibilities of this position include :

• Advise on best practice technical BIM processes, across all project phases from concept to completion.
• Implement and manage processes as per the BIM Management and Execution Plans, to achieve project goals and high-quality coordinated design deliverables.
• Assess, audit and federate models for project teams and provide reports on status and compliance.
• Coordinate and review BIM information (including clash detection) and assist with project design coordination meetings.
• Provide technical support to project teams in handling and utilising BIM information with digital tools.
• Assist project tender teams in preparing graphical construction representation documentation and other design tender documentation.
