Senior Medical Officer - Hospital in the Home (HITH)

The Role

Part-time for 12 months, up to 40 hours per fortnight.

Your duties :

• Review and assess patients being considered for HITH home care or watchhouse review
• Work closely with the HITH multidisciplinary team in daily service operations
• Contribute to the rostering and delivery of a 7 day per week service

The Facility

The Hospital is the major referral centre for North West Queensland. The hospital has approximately 80 beds catering for an area of 300,000 remote and rural kilometres with a population of approximately 34,000 people.
