About The Opportunity
The role is to provide support and consultation to the NUMs, and staff of the Sustaining NSW Families teams located at Fairfield and Rosemeadow. The successful applicant will spend their time between the two sites. The successful applicant will work with an experienced team of clinicians, including both Nursing and Allied Health professionals. The role involves ensuring the fidelity of the program across both sites and ensuring that clients are appropriately recruited and remain engaged in the program for the full two years. The successful candidate will need to be a critical thinker, personable, and an excellent communicator. Please reach out if further information is required.
What You’ll Be Doing
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert practitioner who, through leadership facilitates evidence based practice within Child and Family Health Nursing (CFHN). The CNC will promote a service which fosters clinical excellence, research and professional leadership in CFHN. The CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with the health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes. The CNC is responsible for providing services which facilitate effective management in CFHN.
