About the role

We are looking for a Facilities Engineering Specialist to join our team in our Malaga Data Centre for Fujitsu. This role is a permanent role and reporting into Data Centre Manager.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Data Centre security physical and access procedures, IT infrastructure, Data Centre Plant and Equipment maintenance preparation / activities and batch operations.
• Identify faults and issues with data centre infrastructure, and address where possible. Escalate to relevant vendors or internal teams as required.
• Supervise DC Support activities and mentor / train junior staff members.
• Leading and coordinating Incident management and supporting procedures.
• Assist with preparing monthly reporting related to data hall environmental conditions, power usage and SLA adherence.
• Perform audits of the offsite media management facility as required.
• Assist with internal / external audits to ensure all ISO audit requirements are met.
• Identify, assess and address WHS hazards and incidents around the facility.
• Liaise with Clients and Services Providers as required for all remote hands activities.
• Ensure Fujitsu Data Centre National Access Procedure is followed at all times.
• Perform other duties as directed by the DC manager ranging from client works to special activities.
