Overview

L1 Service Desk Analyst – Microsoft Managed Services at Quorum, based in Sydney, NSW. This role provides first-line technical support to customers across Microsoft environments, assisting with incident resolution, service requests, and escalation to senior engineers when required to maintain high service levels and customer satisfaction.

As part of the Managed Services team, you will work alongside Systems Engineers, Senior Systems Engineers, Cloud & Infrastructure Engineers, and Technical Consultants. The position offers exposure to a broad range of Microsoft cloud and infrastructure technologies and opportunities to learn, develop technical capability, and progress within Quorum’s Managed Services Practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to customers across Microsoft environments.
  • Assist with incident resolution and fulfill service requests.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
  • Collaborate with the Managed Services team to ensure a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Experience providing technical support within a Microsoft-based environment, with exposure to multiple customer systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online) and Windows 10 / 11.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and basic exposure to Azure Active Directory, Intune, or Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware; backup and recovery tools such as Veeam or Azure Backup is highly regarded.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, attention to detail, and a process-driven approach.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work calmly under pressure; proactive in contributing to the team and culture.
