The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Service Technician to perform a range of technical service, repair, and assembly activities on specialised industrial vehicles and equipment.

Your work will involve preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, pre-delivery inspections, and fabrication —both in the workshop and at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform service, repair, and maintenance work on industrial equipment and vehicles
  • Carry out pre-delivery and manufacturing activities, including body-to-chassis integration and component assembly
  • Interpret technical drawings to diagnose and repair systems efficiently
  • Maintain accurate service and parts records using company systems
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and to OEM standards
  • Provide exceptional customer support and technical assistance
  • Participate in after-hours service when required and be open to afternoon shifts
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and the workshop in excellent condition

About You

  • Qualified tradesperson – Certificate III or IV in a relevant field (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar)
  • Ideally cross-skilled across mechanical (fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics) and electrical systems
  • Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Confident interpreting drawings and schematics
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Current driver’s licence and ability to travel when required
