Personal Care Worker

Position Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team and provide non-medical care and support to clients in their homes throughout the community. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve by assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Provide light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up living areas
• Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences
• Support clients with medication reminders
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Assist with errands and transportation to appointments as needed (if applicable)
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a PCA, caregiver, or in a related field preferred (but not required)
• A genuine desire to help others and make a difference in their lives
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license ( Transportation is part of the role)
• Must pass background check and meet any state-specific requirements
