About The Role
Join a well-established, forward-moving law firm based in Melbourne’s CBD. This role sits within a collaborative defendant insurance team, where you’ll support two senior lawyers on a variety of complex matters.

Key Duties
Prepare and format a range of legal documents and correspondence
Take ownership of files from start to finish
Sort, review, and respond to incoming client communications
Handle court lodgements and support in preparing briefs for Counsel
Act as a key point of contact for external parties including barristers and experts
Keep precedents and document systems up to date and well organised
Support day-to-day operations and assist with additional tasks as needed
Skills & Experience
Minimum 3–5 years in legal support within private practice
Exposure to defendant insurance and litigation work (essential)
Confident using legal systems and navigating multiple platforms
Able to work independently while staying connected to a wider team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
