Project Planning : Develop comprehensive project plans, collaborating with internal teams to define scope, objectives, and deliverables. Engineering Design : Support mechanical design processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Material and Resource Management : Source materials, procure cost-effective components, and coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries. Project Execution : Oversee project execution, coordinating activities across departments, and conduct progress meetings for transparent reporting. Quality Assurance : Enforce quality control measures, conduct thorough testing of mechanical systems, and address issues promptly. Risk Management : Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges, proactively addressing issues affecting project timelines and deliverables. Collaboration and Communication : Foster effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders, providing regular updates for transparency. Documentation : Maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and uphold industry standards. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Ideally a minimum 2 years' experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Australian Drivers Licence. Preferably holds a Working at Heights and / or Confined Space Ticket. Proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and generally strong IT skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
