Microsoft Engineer / Application Packager

Looking to join one of Australia’s most integral federal government departments ? This department helps to make life of all Australians better and is looking for a Microsoft Engineer / Application Packager

Working in Melbourne office, you will be involved in s upporting the staff and systems through a large migration and uplift project.

Aside from the above you will be responsible for

• SOE development, management and roll out
• Supporting users during the migration process
• SCCM / MECM packaging
• Active Directory admin / management
• General IT support as required

Please note, this role is with a federal government department so you must be able to get a baseline security clearance .

This means you must have Australian Citizenship with the ability to get this clearance.

Other than the ability to get a Baseline clearance we are keen to speak with candidates that have:

• System migrations in Microsoft environments
• SCCM / MECM development and delivery
• Windows application packaging
• Good Active Directory knowledge (including Azure)
• PowerShell experience beneficial
• Virtualised (VMware) environment (beneficial)
• Security hardening would be advantageous

On offer to the successful candidate will be a contract role with an initial duration to June 2024 (extensions expected) with daily rates based on your skills and experience .
